Short Bio: Before joining the design industry, I worked in some fascinating areas. Roughly grouped as follows:

Early years: I worked in restaurant management and catering, agricultural, horticultural, manufacturing and entertainment, including racetrack team building events.

Scientific years: I have a BSc degree in Biology, a diploma in clinical science, and spent eight years working for large pharmaceutical companies. Essentially, I worked in international clinical trial management as part of drug development. It's hard to beat a pharmaceutical career for high level IT and personal development training.

Entrepreneurial years: I combined my management and creative skills and set up my own company in 2000 (Fairwind). This gave me the freedom to design, and the flexibility to travel. I designed furniture and desirable gift/interior items, then imported them into the UK. Fairwind grew to become a highly successful fair trade business selling items from eighteen countries. Check out fairwindonline.com. However, after 10 years, I decided that design was my passion and needed to be my sole career. With a strong client base and wealth of technical and design experience under my belt, I sold the business.

I now commit all my time to design. From web design to re-branding and inventive catalogue generation, from poster campaigns to flyers, feel free to get in touch.
